Doylestown, Pa.—October 3— Local Box 79033 was transmitted at 8:43 a.m. for a report of a vehicle fire on South Easton Road near the Route 202 overpass in Doylestown Township.

Engine 19, staffed by the duty crew, responded and arrived to find a small fire in the engine compartment of an automobile. The crew quickly extinguished the flames before any extension occurred.

The incident was contained within minutes and caused only minor damage. No injuries were reported. Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 commended its members for their prompt response and readiness to manage even minor incidents efficiently.
