Edgmont Township Fire Company Responds to Hay Barn Fire on Township Property

Gradyville, Pa.—October 18— Just before 10:45 p.m., the Edgmont Township Fire Company No. 1, Station 64, located at 1010 Gradyville Road, responded to a reported building fire near West Forge Road and Stephen Drive. The initial report described smoke coming from a barn on township park property.
Chief Rigby of Middletown Township Fire Department (Car 1) arrived first and confirmed a hay barn with a small fire burning in the lower section. Engine 64 from Edgmont Township Fire Company was first on scene and quickly extinguished the fire with support from Middletown crews and additional mutual-aid partners
