Today Robert S. Tucker presided at a promotional ceremony where he named FDNY Rabbi Joseph Potasnik as the Chief FDNY Chaplain. In addition One Deputy Assistant Chief w Michael G. Woods promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief and Bronx Borough Commander as well as four Battalion Chiefs were promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief, six Captains were promoted to Battalion Chief, 30 Lieutenants were promoted to the rank of Captain, four Fire Marshals were promoted to the rank of Supervising Fire Marshal, 56 Firefighters were promoted to Lieutenant, and one firefighter was promoted to Fire Marshal.
