Newburgh FD responded to loud explosion called into 911 in area of Fullerton Ave and Gidney Ave on October 25. City/Newburgh Police and Empress EMS

were at scene. City/Newburgh Police blocked Gidney Ave at Fullerton Ave poles and wires were in roadway. Car four advised dispatch to contact Central Hudson.

Both subect's in vehicle refused medical treatment. Firefighters checked vehicle for hazards spread speedy dry on fluids. Central Hudson arrived and started to

repair pole/wires. New York State Police were called to give driver sobriety test. City/Newburgh Police investigating the cause.
