Havertown, Pa.—October 6— The Brookline Volunteer Fire Company, Station 35, located at 1315 Darby Road, is observing Fire Prevention Week with a series of educational activities, including school visits and its annual open house event.
Firefighters are spending the week visiting local schools to meet students and discuss important fire-safety topics such as smoke alarms, escape planning, and the responsible use of home electronics. The department’s efforts aim to reinforce awareness and promote preparedness within the community.
