Chester Heights, Pa.—October 13— The Chester Heights Fire Company, located at 222 Llewellyn Road, visited a local elementary school before recess to provide a fire-prevention program for students.

Volunteer firefighters spoke with children about the basics of fire safety, including what to do if they encounter smoke or fire at home. Students were given the opportunity to explore the department’s fire engine and even try out the hose under firefighter supervision.
