Chambersburg, Pa. — October 21: Reports of smoke were received by the Franklin Fire Company Monday afternoon in the vicinity of the 1400 block of Lincoln Way East. When they arrived, workers discovered a mulch fire in Fitzgerald Toyota's landscaping. Before the fire could spread to surrounding cars or buildings, firefighters swiftly set up a handline and contained it.
