Brookline Fire Company Completes Tower Repairs After Corrosion Discovery

Havertown, Pa.—October 16— The Brookline Volunteer Fire Company, Station 35, located at 1315 Darby Road, conducted scheduled maintenance and inspection of its siren and radio tower this week. During the inspection, corrosion was discovered that had weakened a section of the structure, prompting immediate action.

Ironworkers Local Union No. 401 and Thackray Crane Rental, Inc. responded quickly, providing technical expertise and crane support to complete the repairs approximately 135 feet above ground. Their coordinated efforts ensured the tower was stabilized and returned to safe working condition.
