Live Rescue Demo Highlights Edgewater Fire Safety Night

Ridgefield, N.J. — October 7 — Members of the Ridgefield Fire Department Company 2, assisted by the Palisades Park Fire Department, joined Edgewater’s annual Fire Safety Night for a live vehicle extrication demonstration.
Firefighters showed how crews remove a vehicle’s doors, roof, and dashboard using hydraulic tools to free trapped occupants. The event drew strong community interest and highlighted the precision and teamwork involved in rescue operations.
Ridgefield Fire Dept. thanked Edgewater Fire Department for hosting and inviting them to help promote fire and rescue safety.
