Ridgefield Crews Operate Two Hours at Crash Scene

Ridgefield, N.J. — October 4 — Just before midnight, the Ridgefield Fire Department was dispatched to Broad Avenue and Pleasantview Terrace for a rollover crash with entrapment.
Rescue 7 arrived to find a sedan on its side with the driver trapped inside. Crews began extrication while Engine 4 stretched a handline to guard against fire hazards. After nearly two and a half hours, the driver was freed and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
