Lanesborough, MA - On October 16th, the Berkshire County Fire Chief’s Association held its monthly meeting at the local fire station. Chiefs from towns across Berkshire County attended, along with representatives from the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Western Massachusetts Fire Chief’s Association, FEMA, District 4 HazMat, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Department, and dispatchers and administrators from the Berkshire County Communication Center.

Following a dinner of brisket and macaroni and cheese prepared by department members, attendees discussed topics of shared concern, including potential updates to communication procedures with the dispatch center.

Special thanks were extended to all those who helped prepare the station the night before and assisted with meal preparation and service during the event—a true team effort by everyone involved.
