Middletown, Pa. — September 29, 2025 — The Londonderry Fire Company, located at 2655 Foxianna Road, Middletown, hosted a rural water movement training at the Met-Ed Boat Landing alongside the Middletown, Lower Swatara, and Bainbridge Fire Companies.
Firefighters set up a fill site, a draft site, and two portable tanks to supply water to Tower 88’s bucket and several deck guns. The drill also included a review of the rural hitch setup, allowing crews to refine long-distance water-supply operations used in non-hydranted areas.
