Mahanoy City, Pa. — October 10: The MCFD Rapid Intervention Team was sent to a structure fire in the Lost Creek neighborhood of West Mahanoy Township along with Tower 4820 from Citizens Fire Company #2-Mahanoy City. Crews assisted with overhaul after the fire was contained after providing RIT coverage during firefighting operations. Efficient scene operations and firefighter safety were guaranteed by the coordinated response.
