York, Pa. — October 16: A wide range of fire-prevention efforts have been carried out throughout the area by York Area United Fire & Rescue (YAUFR) during the last two weeks. Crews conducted open houses at two of their fire stations, showed off their firefighting skills at two career-day events, and visited several schools to educate kids about fire safety.
