At 5:10 pm on October 14, the Limerick Fire Department and Upper Frederick Fire Company were dispatched to a reported vehicle rescue involving three occupants in one vehicle on Mine Run Rd. It was reported that the car was flipped onto its hood. By the time Limerick Police arrived, all occupants had safely evacuated the car with assistance from nearby Good Samaritans. Upper Frederick Fire Company was recalled. Fire Police shut down Mine Run Rd at Hockle Rd, Deerfield Rd, and N Limerick Rd for the duration of the incident. Crews from Rescue 51 secured the vehicle as best as possible while EMS evaluated the pediatric and adult patients. After the tow truck loaded up the car, crews cleared debris from the road. All were made available from the scene within the hour.
