Gratz, Pa. — September 30, 2025 — At 8:05 a.m. Monday, the Gratz Area Fire Company #1 was dispatched to 287 Erdman Road for a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned tri-axle dump truck carrying sand and dry concrete.

Crews arrived to find the driver out of the vehicle with minor injuries. Firefighters provided patient care, controlled leaking fluids, and assisted with scene stabilization. EMS from Company 6 transported one patient, while Kellers Towing & Recovery and Peiffer’s Towing handled vehicle removal.
