Trailer Fire Quickly Contained on Baltimore Pike

October 24, 2025 - At approximately 11:50 a.m., the Union Fire Company No. 1, along with mutual aid from West Grove, Longwood, Rising Sun, and Cochranville fire companies, were dispatched to the 1800 block of Baltimore Pike for a reported trailer fire. Upon arrival, Engine 21-1 deployed a 150-foot bumper line and discovered a small fire within a wall. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze before it could spread further. Assistant 21 assumed command of the incident, designated as Baltimore Pike Command. No injuries were reported.
