Clearfield, PA - 15 October was a busy start to the day for the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department. At 7:50 a.m., the Rescue Company and QRS were dispatched to a vehicle accident with reported injuries in the South Park area of the borough.

After returning from the call, members quickly cleaned up and made their way to Evans Quality Childcare, LLC, where they spoke with daycare children about fire safety. Assistant Chief Brett Collins, 2nd Lieutenant Pat Collins, and Firefighter Casey Cartwright took time out of their day to engage with the children and share important safety lessons.
