Saegertown, Pa. — October 9, 2025 — The Saegertown Fire Department spent the day at Saegertown Elementary School teaching students essential fire safety lessons as part of Fire Safety Day.
Firefighters spoke with classes about safe home-escape plans, smoke alarms, and calling 911 in an emergency. Students also toured fire apparatus and learned about the tools and gear firefighters use on calls.
