Sadsbury, PA - On Friday, October 17th, the Sadsburyville Fire Company joined the Westwood Fire Company in supporting their annual Fire Prevention Day at Rainbow Elementary School in Valley Township.

Engine 31 and its crew participated in educating students about fire safety, emphasizing the importance of having a family emergency plan, knowing what to do in the event of a fire, and understanding how firefighters look and sound when wearing their gear during a rescue.

Students also had the exciting opportunity to see, touch, and sit inside the fire engines. The Sadsburyville Fire Company expressed that they enjoyed being part of the event and look forward to participating again next year.
