Rochester firefighters respond to rubbish fire at vacant grocery store

ROCHESTER, NY - Just after 7:30 p.m., October 21, Rochester firefighters responded to a fire at the former Tops grocery store at 794 Lake Avenue.
Responding units reported smoke showing and rubbish burning at the entrance to the building.
The fire was extinguished in about 20 minutes; there were no injuries reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
