WEST AMWELL, NJ - In the early-morning hours of October 23rd at approximately 4:40 a.m., WAFCO was dispatched along with 48 Fire and Rescue, 17 Rescue, and EMS 3 to Motor Vehicle Accident Box 4826 for a reported collision on Route 202, near Wertsville Road, involving a rollover. Upon arrival, Chief 48 confirmed that two tractor trailers were involved, with one vehicle overturned. Crews from 26 Fire were assigned to control leaking fluids from the overturned truck. Chief 26 (Ent), Rescue 26 (Lt. Hunt), and Utility 26 (Lt. Buck) responded and assisted on scene for approximately two and a half hours before being released by command.
