Meadville, Pa. — October 6 — The Meadville Firefighters IAFF Local 515 visited a local elementary school to teach students about fire safety and prevention as part of Fire Prevention Week.
Children learned about home escape plans, smoke alarms, and the role of firefighters during emergencies. They also explored the department’s ladder truck and equipment, gaining a closer look at how firefighters serve their community.
