Firefighters Conduct Follow-Up Visit in Greensward Neighborhood to Promote Fire Safety

Cherry Hill, NJ - Firefighters visited the Greensward neighborhood as part of a follow-up to a fire that had occurred there the previous week. During the visit, they met with residents, answered fire safety questions, and offered to check smoke detectors. Members also installed smoke detectors provided by the department.
Residents are encouraged to check their homes to ensure that smoke detectors are working properly. It is also important for families to create and practice an emergency plan.
