Early Alarm Helps Contain Willowdale House Fire

Cherry Hill, NJ - Firefighters and EMTs responded to a house fire in the Willowdale section of town after an initial dispatch for a fire alarm activation. While en route, the call was upgraded to a confirmed house fire. Thanks to the fire alarm’s early detection and quick notification to the fire department, crews arrived promptly and were able to keep the damage to a minimum. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Residents are reminded to regularly check their homes to ensure smoke detectors are working properly and to create and practice an emergency plan with their families.
