Westville Firefighters Respond to Vehicle Fire on I-295

Westville, N.J. — October 16 — Duty Engine 19 of the Westville Fire Department responded to a car fire on Thursday afternoon at mile marker 22.8 on Interstate 295 northbound. First to arrive, Engine 19 started suppressing the fire right away.
Westville Engine 733 and West Deptford Squad 6 mutual aid units assisted on the scene. While Engine 733 used both water and foam to put out the fuel-fed fire, Squad 6 provided water.
