Brigantine, N.J. — October 15 — The Brigantine Fire Department completed its annual live-burn training at the Atlantic County Fire Academy, giving firefighters hands-on experience in realistic fire conditions. The exercise focused on hose advancement, ventilation, and teamwork under heat and smoke.

Students from BCC News Channel and Brigantine Living’s Kelly Lentz attended the session, interviewing firefighters about the importance of training and fire safety education. The department noted that regular live-burn exercises are essential for maintaining readiness and protecting the community.
