Tower 18 Assists Hammonton Fire as Cologne Handles Multiple Incidents

Cologne, N.J. — October 6 — The Cologne Volunteer Fire Company and other Hamilton Township fire units managed a busy day with seven calls in total. Tower 18 was committed to Hammonton, providing mutual aid at a large structure fire, while Engine 1854 handled several incidents throughout the day.

The department thanked the Mays Landing and Laureldale Fire Companies for assisting while Cologne crews managed overlapping responses. The day highlighted the importance of coordination and mutual aid among township departments.
