Cashtown Tanker 4 Assists at Large Outside Fire in Jackson Township

Cashtown, Pa. — October 19 Tanker 4 from the Cashtown Community Fire Department responded to a large outside fire in Jackson Township, York County, near Spring Grove.
Initially assigned to provide coverage at Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services, Tanker 4 was redirected to the fire scene about 30 minutes later, traveling roughly 29 miles from Cashtown. Once on scene, crews joined multiple departments already operating in a coordinated water shuttle and suppression effort.
