Ford City, Pa. — October 3 —The Ford Cliff Volunteer Fire Company assisted Station 90 with a controlled burn at the brownfield site in Ford City Borough on Thursday evening. Squad 80 and UTV 80, staffed by a four-member crew, supported operations and provided additional manpower throughout the exercise.
The training burn offered both departments a chance to refine coordination, water supply operations, and safety procedures in a controlled environment. Officials noted that these joint drills strengthen readiness for real-world incidents and help maintain strong working relationships between neighboring companies.
