Bendersville, Pa. — October 18 — The Bendersville Community Fire Department (Co. 7) was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Coon Road and Pine Grove Furnace Road. Chief 7 arrived within minutes to find a T-bone style crash with two patients, one of whom was trapped.

The incident was upgraded to an entrapment, bringing in a second medic unit and an air medical helicopter. Engine 7-1 removed a door to free the trapped patient, while Engine 7-2 established and managed the landing zone at the station for the helicopter.
