East Brandywine, PA - At approximately 7:37 a.m on 16th October, emergency crews from the East Brandywine Fire Company and Minquas EMS were dispatched to the 500 block of Rock Raymond Road in East Brandywine Township following reports of a vehicle accident with entrapment.
According to initial reports, a vehicle had struck a pole and overturned, leaving at least one person trapped inside. Upon arrival, MICU 46-4 and East Brandywine Police confirmed that both occupants had safely exited the vehicle before Rescue 49 reached the scene.
Rescue 49’s crew verified that the utility pole had snapped and that the vehicle was lying on its side, blocking both lanes of traffic. Additional responding units included Engine 49-2, QRS 49, and Utility 49-2, which closed the roadway between Dorlan Mill Road and East Buck Road to ensure safety during the response.
Flings Towing later arrived to upright and remove the vehicle, assisting Rescue 49 with debris cleanup. Once the area was cleared, all responding units were released, and the road was reopened to traffic.
Both vehicle occupants were evaluated by EMS personnel on scene.
