Adams Township, Pa. — October 12 — Over the past two weekends, Adams Area Volunteer Fire District Station 42 and neighboring agencies conducted live fire training at three acquired structures slated for demolition.

Firefighters completed 32 hours of hands-on training, rotating through engine and truck company operations to strengthen fire attack, ventilation, and coordination skills.

The department thanked the property owner for providing the buildings, Supremo’s Pizzeria, Mars Pizza, and Chick-fil-A Cranberry for meals, and Quality EMS for medical standby and rehab services.
