Patterson TWP, PA - The Patterson Heights Volunteer Fire Department identified and addressed a secondary fire involving a natural gas meter while crews were operating at a separate incident on Saint Andrews Drive.

Command immediately requested additional resources, bringing in the City of Beaver Falls Fire Department and Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department, along with utility providers Columbia Gas and Duquesne Light Company.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and secured the gas supply at the meter while simultaneously evacuating the residence. Crews conducted a thorough assessment of the structure, confirming no fire extension or hazardous gas readings inside.

Once the situation was stabilized, mutual aid units were released, and the incident was safely brought under control through coordinated efforts on scene.
