Wilton, NH - On October 14th, Wilton, NH responded to 377 Main Street for a building fire. The chief of department arrived to find a 2.5 story WDF with a one room fire in a walk in basement in the rear of the building. The chief transmitted a 2nd alarm bringing mutual aid from surrounding towns. He was able to hold in the fire in check with an “APW” style extinguisher until an engine from Milford arrived and placed a line in operation. The fire was quickly knocked down and companies overhauled for a short time before making up.
