Pedestrian Struck at State Hill and Westview Roads in Spring Township

On Sunday night, October 5, a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Westview and State Hill Roads near the Colony Park area of Spring Township. Units from TSFR Rescue 85, Wyomissing Fire Department Ladder 79, Western Berks EMS, and Fire Police responded to the scene.
Rescue 85, having just concluded an emergency response in neighboring Cumru Township, arrived shortly after Ladder 79. By that time, EMS personnel had already stabilized and packaged the patient for transport. Rescue 85 remained on-site to provide lighting support for the ongoing police investigation until being released by authorities. Fire Police managed traffic control throughout the incident.
