October 13, 2025 — On Monday, Sea Bright Fire Rescue activated its Swift Water Rescue Team in response to flooding conditions that affected multiple areas throughout town.
Crews worked tirelessly as rising waters trapped residents and motorists. In total, 16 individuals were safely removed from flood waters, with members using specialized rescue equipment and techniques to ensure safe extractions amid challenging conditions.
Following the rescues, teams conducted preliminary damage assessments across affected zones to assist local officials in evaluating the impact of the flooding.
