Stafford, N.J. — October 7 — Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 responded mutual aid to the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Company for a reported structure fire at Bay Avenue and Second Street. Heavy smoke was visible on arrival, and mutual aid was requested from both island and mainland departments, including a Rapid Intervention Team.

Stafford crews joined other agencies in suppression and support operations that helped bring the incident under control. Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork among all responding companies ensured the fire was contained safely, with all personnel returning without injury.
