Demarest, N.J. — October 7 — The Demarest Fire Department visited County Road and Luther Lee Emerson Schools as part of Fire Prevention Week activities. Firefighters spoke with students about safety at home and in school, emphasizing the importance of smoke alarms, escape plans, and emergency preparedness.
The department thanked Principal Mr. Mazzini for continuing to welcome the annual program, which helps build early awareness and confidence among young students. The visit is part of Demarest FD’s ongoing commitment to community fire prevention and public education
