October 16, 2025 - This year, the Penns Manor Elementary School K–4 class once again had the privilege of welcoming local firefighters for their annual Fire Prevention presentation. The students, along with teachers Mrs. Horn and Mrs. Clement, warmly greeted the visiting crew and eagerly participated in the activities.

The children were thrilled to meet their firefighter friends, learn about firefighting gear, try it on, and even sit inside the fire truck. Captain Amy Muir, Safety Officer Paul Demi, Firefighter Tony Shultz, and Firefighter Nate Gill dedicated their time to make the event both educational and exciting.

Mrs. Horn and Mrs. Clement were commended for their continued efforts in preparing the students and incorporating fire safety lessons throughout October. Their commitment to teaching safety is deeply appreciated. The firefighters are already looking forward to returning next year for another successful visit.
