October 2, 2025 — At approximately 6:12 p.m., the Morganville Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on Pleasant Valley Road for a reported structure fire with possible entrapment. Upon arrival, officers from the Marlboro Police Department confirmed a working fire and immediately began rescue efforts. Police safely removed all occupants from the home, who were then evaluated by EMS crews on scene.
Captain 28-3-68 transmitted the box alarm, bringing in multiple mutual aid companies. Tanker Pumper 28-3-95 arrived first, laying in and stretching a hand line for an aggressive interior attack. Chief 28-2-66 and the crew from 3-95 quickly located and knocked down the main body of fire, while Ladder 28-3-91 established roof operations for ventilation.
The blaze was brought under control shortly after, with crews performing overhaul and checking for extension. No injuries were reported.
