October 2025 — Members of the Fair Haven Fire Department (Station 13-1) and Fair Haven EMS participated in Volunteer Info Day at Rumson-Fair Haven High School, connecting with students interested in community service.

Over 40 students signed up to learn more about the department’s Fire and EMS Cadet Programs, which provide young volunteers with hands-on experience in emergency response, leadership, and teamwork.

Current cadets also stopped by the booth throughout the day, greeting visitors and encouraging their classmates to join the FHFD family.

The department expressed its gratitude to all who participated, noting the importance of cultivating the next generation of volunteers.

“Our cadet program is one of the best ways for young people to get involved in public service, gain valuable experience, and make a real impact in their community,” said a department spokesperson.

The Fair Haven Fire Department continues to welcome new volunteers interested in serving their community through fire and EMS service.
