Commercial Township Students Learn Fire Safety Basics

Commercial Twp, N.J. — October 17 — Laurel Lake Fire & Rescue Company, joined by the Mauricetown Fire Department, visited Commercial Township School as part of Fire Prevention Week outreach.
Students explored fire apparatus, met firefighters in full gear, and took part in a smoke simulation exercise using Millville Fire Department’s mobile smoke house. The unit uses a fog machine to safely demonstrate how smoke behaves and what to do during a real fire.
