September 25, 2025 — It has been a busy few weeks for the Englishtown Fire Department, as members responded to a range of emergency incidents both within town and through mutual aid to surrounding communities.

In recent weeks, crews:

  • Quickly extinguished a fire at the McDonald’s located in their first-due area with assistance from automatic aid partners.
  • Responded to a downed transmission line, which sparked a brush fire.
  • Provided station coverage at Monroe Township’s Station 23B while Monroe crews operated at a structure fire.
  • Handled a vehicle fire in Manalapan.
  • Assisted with a vehicle into the water incident.
  • Responded to multiple motor vehicle accidents and several additional calls for service throughout the month.

These varied incidents highlight the department’s commitment, readiness, and teamwork. The department extended appreciation to its volunteer members for their dedication and to all mutual aid partners for their continued support.
