Washington, NJ - Students from WTHS had the opportunity to visit the Johnson Road Fire Station for an educational and engaging tour. Firefighter Jimmy Donahue guided the group through the station, showcasing the fire trucks and explaining the specialized equipment carried on each apparatus.

During the visit, Firefighter Mike Paul Jr. suited up in full gear to demonstrate what firefighters look like when responding to emergencies. The students learned about the wide range of incidents firefighters handle and actively participated by asking thoughtful questions throughout the tour.

Mrs. Kempton and Mrs. McCullough’s class are pictured below, enjoying their time at the station. The department thanked the students for visiting and looks forward to welcoming them again next year.
