Washington, NJ - Lt. Dobleman and his crew visited A Place to Grow Preschool to educate children about fire safety. During their visit, the firefighters discussed how firefighters are community helpers, what to do if a smoke detector goes off, and what a firefighter looks like when fully geared up. The children also enjoyed an exciting tour of the fire truck. Each year, the department visits every preschool and elementary school in town to ensure all children learn the importance of fire safety.
