Chippewa Twp., Pa — October 12 — Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department held its Fire Prevention Touch A Truck event at Walmart, featuring department apparatus and participation from the Chippewa Township Police Department.
Families received fire prevention materials, giveaway items, and entered free smoke detector raffles. A coloring contest, sponsored by Bethanie DeLuca – State Farm Insurance Agent and Judy’s Jimmies, added to the fun.
The event gave residents a chance to meet local first responders and learn fire safety in an interactive setting.
