Paterson Battles Blaze in Single-Family Home

Photo by Todd HollrittOn the scene with Paterson Fire operating at East 22nd Street at noon on October 16th for a working fire in a 2 1/2 story wood-frame, fire was on the second floor, one occupant was rescued by firefighters. Three hand lines were stretched. One fireman was transported from the scene to St. Joseph's Hospital.

PATERSON, NJ - Firefighters responded to East 22nd Street for a reported structure fire on October 16th. Battalion 2 arrived and reported fire on the second-floor of a residential home. First arriving companies were advised of a person trapped, and quick action by firefighters rescued one person. Three lines were streched and the fire was extinguised. One fireman was injured and transported. The blaze was held to a single alarm.
