Early Morning Blaze Confined to Garage; No Extension to Home

October 3 — Roseland, N.J. — On early Friday, the Roseland Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Kent Drive for a reported car fire inside a garage. Responding units included Engine 661, Engine 662, Truck 665, Rescue 664, Utility 668, and Command 660.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze to the garage area, preventing any extension into the residence. Crews then ventilated the home to clear smoke and ensure safe air quality. The Roseland First Aid Squad provided rehab support on scene.
Once the situation was stabilized, the Roseland Police Department assumed control of the scene for investigation. The coordinated effort among all responding agencies helped limit damage and ensure resident safety.
