Stewartsville, NJ — October 2, 2025 —The all-volunteer Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company had a busy year, responding to 31 calls for service in September. The business has received 278 calls so far in the first nine months of 2025. The majority of last month's calls (15 out of 31) were EMS assists, indicating a persistent need for medical assistance services. Additionally, the company responded to two vehicle fires, one brush fire, one CO alarm, one smoke or odor investigation, five motor vehicle accidents, five automatic fire alarm activations, and one structure fire.
